They broke only one month after I said "well, I will play them later". If I did not forget anything, you should be able to play them. In Legacy\htdocs\\zones\pub\stingers, place ccblocks.swf.įinally, launch the games from Flashpoint. In Legacy\htdocs\\zones\pub\ads, place mochiad.swf. In Legacy\htdocs\\zones\pub\100, place thespacegamebg.swf, and widget.swf. In Legacy\htdocs\\zones\pub\16, place thespacegamebg.swf, and widget.swf. In Legacy\htdocs\, place crossdomain.xml. In Legacy\cgi-bin\\pub\session, place setup. Now, let's put the missing files where they should be (some of them are used in two folders, so copy them from the first one and paste them in the second one). Then, make sure all of the following folders exist in the Flashpoint folder (create all of the missing ones): Legacy\cgi-bin\\pub\session :p Anyway, here is how to get these two games working!įirst, download the missing files here. Do not ask me to do it again for another game because I do not have Linux so I had to use a virtual machine to obtain the files and setup everything. Since nobody had replied yet, I decided to give it a try (I am not a computer wizard either, but I know one or two weak spells.). Thank you deeply for posting this! I noticed your post when I was searching for some sort of fix someone would have (finally) posted. Starting with Flashpoint Infinity 10.1, The Space Game (and all other games by Casual Collective) SHOULD be fully playable without additionnal steps. IMPORTANT EDIT: The following guide is only working (and needed!) up to Flashpoint Infinity 10. Is there any way to make these games work on windows? perhaps somebody can look into it or fix, or, maybe i can somehow mount the sfw files locally for myself? it would be a great help. these are probably the files that somehow dont load on windows sfw file, but within the linux folders i can also find other files, some having around 3 MB which seem to contain the main game. sfw files and on windows, these files simply cannot be found, or downloaded, when launching the games. Im not tech-savy and dont know any details, but it seems that the games are split into multiple. both these games are currently broken on Flashpoint Infinity 10 for windows, where they just get stuck in loading on the very first screen, even before showing the company logo or anything. Was very surprised to find "The Space Game" and "The Space Game: Missions" from The Casual Collective being fully functional on the linux debian version of flashpoint, with no extra steps required.
